Awakening the Forgotten Self
Rediscover who you were before the world told you who to be. A full-day experiential workshop on healing self-abandonment and coming home to yourself.
Many of us learned to put our needs aside, stay quiet, or make ourselves small to keep the peace, be loved, or avoid conflict. This isn’t something we choose — it’s something we learn, especially in environments where love, stability, or safety felt conditional.
This workshop is designed to help you understand where these patterns came from, how they show up in your body and relationships today, and how to begin building a different relationship with yourself — one rooted in self-trust, internal safety, and steady self-respect.
This isn’t a day about “fixing” yourself. It’s a day about understanding yourself — gently, compassionately, and at your pace.
This Workshop Is For You If You…
Put others’ needs ahead of your own
Avoid expressing how you really feel to prevent conflict
Feel like you’ve lost parts of yourself over time
Struggle to know what you want, need, or prefer
Are exhausted from being “the strong one” for everyone else
Want to reconnect with yourself — but aren’t sure how to start
What We’ll Explore Together…
How self-abandonment forms as a survival strategy
What it looks like in the nervous system and the body
The difference between self-abandonment and codependency
How to recognize the early signs that you’re leaving yourself
Practical skills to stay with yourself in real-life situations
How to build safety inside yourself, slowly and consistently
You’ll also have the chance to engage in:
Guided reflection and journaling
Somatic (body-based) grounding practices
Gentle, structured small-group exercises
Supportive discussion with others who get it
You are always in choice. Sharing is optional. The pace is slow, steady, and emotionally safe.
What Makes This Day Different?
This is not a lecture. It’s not “tips and tools.” And it’s not surface-level self-care messaging.
This is a deep, experiential, relational healing environment — held with care, clinical grounding, and body awareness.
You’ll leave with:
A clearer understanding of why you disconnect from yourself
A felt sense of what it’s like to stay
One or two small, meaningful practices to continue at home
Not a transformation in one day — but the beginning of a new relationship with yourself.
A Final Note…
If you’ve spent years being who others needed you to be, know this: there is nothing wrong with you. Your system learned to survive. And now, it’s allowed to learn something new.
You don’t have to leave yourself to be loved.
