“The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek” - Carl Jung
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Q) who specializes in working with adults aged 18 and older, with experiences of trauma, attachment injuries, addiction, anxiety, grief and loss, eating disorders, psycho-somatic concerns, and cultural and life transition-related challenges.
I am a relationally-oriented integrative therapist. What that really means is that I work with integrating different therapeutic styles in which I am trained, depending on the clients and their contexts. At the core of the work I do, my foundation lies in offering my clients warmth, curiosity, and unconditional positive regard. My deepest intention is to support my clients to connect them with their inner wisdom and guidance, and to build trust within their authentic and unique gifts.
With my roots in India, I bring an intersection between the Eastern and Western approaches to therapy and healing. I am trained in and adopt a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and whole-person approach, incorporating various approaches such as- Somatic, Humanistic, Jungian analytical framework, Ecopsychotherapy, Relational and attachment work, Internal parts work, Mindfulness, Narrative, and Cognitive-behavioural therapy into my work. I believe that when we learn to come back to our bodies with relative safety, we begin to relate to ourselves in the present moment- that is where the journey of healing initiates.
Outside my professional role, you can find me running and exploring natural landscapes, dancing and moving, playing with my dogs, nerd-ing on autobiographies, or making music.
